lat weekend it was a rain day and i didn’t get out to take photos. i regret it now as rain days can be some great shots. the sun comes through for a monment, everything is wet. it just makes this great photo op…..

Pups are starting to come out of dens when mom goes hunting now. always the bold one, and one who will hardley poke its nose out the den.

Owls can be illusive subjects. I have found a owl in the same place three times now. in fact on the same branch in the same tree. even though i know where it is it still takes me awhile to visually pick it out from the branches. I can get pictures but so far i have not been able to get in and “the shot” If there are (wildlife respectful) photographers in the park city utah area who want a shot at this owl just contact me from diamond p photography.com and i will lead you to it.

I shoot with Canon. I do wonder about durability. I have had two rebels and two 100-400 lenses. Canon reps have told me they have never seen the quality of the pictures deteriorate over time but both my cameras and lenses have been crystal clear for the first year or so and then slowly the image quality suffers. I’ve got a big bag full of lenses and flash and so forth. (large investment) i wish someone at canon would reach out to me and help me. Until then I’ll keep buying new and shooting. And letting everyone know my experience with Canon equipment.
