Pups are starting to come out of dens when mom goes hunting now. always the bold one, and one who will hardley poke its nose out the den.

Owls can be illusive subjects. I have found a owl in the same place three times now. in fact on the same branch in the same tree. even though i know where it is it still takes me awhile to visually pick it out from the branches.
